You may think that tiny tattoos are only for the faint of heart, but think again! Not only have we written before about how small tattoos can often pack a whole lotta meaning, but truth be told: being covered in tattoos is definitely a lifetime devotion, and sometimes people just aren't down. Which is cool! These miniature works of art add a little sparkle to anyones skin, and can often be full of creativity and surprising humor! In this particular selection of pieces we also tried to include ink that could be tattooed on anyone...we know there are tons of guides out there sparking inspo for tattoos for women, men, and even temporary tattoos for festival fans, but these tats here are for everyone anywhere!
As the tattoo industry and community grows, so too do the influences of tattooing poke up in every artistic aspect of our lives! T-shirts, socks, pins, books, prints...even tv shows: they're all getting injected with the aesthetics of tattoo artwork. This is totally awesome for a number of reasons (who doesn't love/need a lil more art in their lives?) but it also means that societal views on tattoos are quickly changing. More people want ink, even if it only means a tiny drop of it! And to each their own, we dare say, since small tattoos, and even big tattoos, are a matter of taste and style. Not everyone wants a bodysuit, and we can totally understand that!
We also hope everyone realizes that just because someone has a bodysuit, over a small tattoo, definitely doesn't mean that the full body tattoo is more meaningful. In fact, sometimes the opposite holds true: many of the people at Tattoodo are heavily tattooed, and some will explain that, after awhile, another tattoo is another tattoo. For many of us it's more about the memory or the experience of getting the piece, and this includes anyone who gets artwork on their body!
That being said, for those who don't have a whole lot of ink, choosing a minimalist tattoo to get can be more tricky...more of an internal conversation. Perhaps a lot of them are asking, "Will I love this forever?"...and although we can't guarantee that you will, we totally noticed, putting this collection together, that so many of these pieces really pack a punch! Whether a nostalgic nod to favorite cartoons, a perfectly depicted origami crane, or even a simple heart tattoo...these unique pieces may be very minuscule, but they sure are magnificent.
Interestingly enough, another thing these tiny tattoos have in common, is that some of them are actually hand poke tattoos. We're sure you've heard of it, but just in case:hand poke tattoos are non electric and simply describes the practice of tapping ink into the skin one poke at a time. It's such an incredible technique because it's absolutely ancient! For all you history buffs and tattoo nerds, you'll know that all archaic tattooing began this way. Tribal tattoos, centuries ago, were created with tools very similar to the modern tattoo needle but usually consisted of bone, cactus spines, and other natural elements rather than molded metal. It's so cool to think that contemporary tattoo artists are continuing this beautiful human tradition of expression!
As the even keeled tattoo professionals that we proudly proclaim to be, we will tell you: all tattoos are cool if they mean something to you, but not all tattoos need to be meaningful. Does that make sense? Sometimes a micro tattoo could be boring to one person, and radicle to the next. That's what's so great about tattoos, and art, there is something for everyone, and we're sure to have it!
Based in Lebanon, and known for his beautifully conceived creations that merge graceful illustrative style with Japanese and Neo Traditional aesthetics, Björn Liebner was kind enough to share his work with us. In this interview, Björn describes his punk rock beginnings, as well as shares some insight into his tattoo inspirations.
I don't think I have someone I would call a hero but I follow other tattooers and illustrators work for sure. It is a big part of learning and helps to evolve in some way. One of the first ones I remember was Grime, as an example, and I have a print of Timothy Hoyer's paintings in front of me right now.

madotattoo.com provides a platform where Aspirants can locate an Advisor and ask for advice or services. madotattoo will enable a Customer to communicate with Advisors. This communication may or may not require the Customer to pay for services provided by Advisors. madotattoo makes no representation or warranty whatsoever as to (a) the willingness or ability of any Advisor to give advice, (b) whether the Customer will find the advice given by an Advisor satisfactory, (c) whether the advice of the Advisor will provide an adequate solution to the Customer's question(s) or (d) whether the Advisor's advice will otherwise be suitable to the Customer's needs.
madotattoo does not refer, endorse, recommend, verify, evaluate or guarantee any advice, information or other services provided by Advisors. Customers should not consider anything to be a referral, endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by Modhitree of an Advisor's advice, information or other services. madotattoo does not guarantee the validity, accuracy, completeness, safety, legality, quality or applicability of the content on the Site and anything spoken or written by its Advisors, including any information contained in an Advisor listing. madotattoo will not be liable for any damages sustained due to reliance by Customer on information or advice provided by any Advisor. The advice or information provided by our advisors is for informational purposes only and cannot be considered a substitute for professional advice.
Customer hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless madotattoo, its directors, shareholders, partners, officers, members, managers, employees, agents, successors, advisors, consultants and assigns from any and all causes of action, claims of any nature and damages resulting from the advice of Advisors accessed through the Site or from the content of the Site.

THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT madotattoo DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY CLAIM, SUIT OR ACTION BROUGHT BY AN EXPERT IN CONNECTION WITH PAYMENT FOR SERVICES BY THE CUSTOMER AND CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD madotattoo HARMLESS IN CONNECTION WITH ANY SUCH CLAIM.

madotattoo makes no claim that the content of the Site is appropriate or may be downloaded outside the Republic of India (“India”). If you access the Site from a location outside India, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
Modifications and Termination of madotattoo.com
madotattoo reserves the right in its sole discretion, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services in madotattoo.com, with or without notice to Customer. Customer agrees that madotattoo shall not be liable to Customer or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of madotattoo.com's services or for any losses or damages that may result to Customer from such discontinuation or interruption of service.
madotattoo's services depend on various factors such as software, hardware and communications networks of madotattoo, its contractors and suppliers and factors outside its control. Hence, madotattoo cannot guarantee that madotattoo.com's service will be uninterrupted or that it will be timely, secure or error-free.
madotattoo may, in its sole discretion and for any reason or no reason, terminate Customer's participation in madotattoo.com and refuse any and all current or future use by Customer of madotattoo.com.
Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless madotattoo and its members, managers, employees, representatives, agents and affiliates against any and all losses, damages, suits, judgments, costs and expenses (including litigation costs and attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any claim, suit, action, or other proceeding brought against madotattoo or such party, to the extent that such a claim, suit, action or other proceeding is based on or arises from: (a) any breach of any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement to be performed by Customer according to this Agreement; (b) Customer's refusal to pay for services provided by any Advisor; or (c) any materials that Customer had posted to madotattoo.com or transmitted through it and/or any content on Customer's Web site or otherwise provided by Customer.
Customer shall not assign his or her rights and obligations according to this Agreement, in whole or in part, whether voluntarily or by operation of law, without the prior, written consent of madotattoo. Any purported assignment by Customer without the appropriate prior written approval will be null and void and of no force or effect.
Modifications to this Agreement
madotattoo may change this Agreement or any part hereof at any time according to its absolute discretion and without any prior notice. Therefore, Customer is encouraged to check the terms of this Agreement frequently. By using the service or Site after any changes, Customer agrees to be bound by such changes to this Agreement.
Customer may report any violation of this Agreement to contactus@madotattoo.com.

However, payment will be gathered in advance of all consultations.

TITLENOTICES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ENFORCING ANY AGREEMENT THAT WAS MADE BETWEEN AN EXPERT AND A CUSTOMER, INCLUDING EXPERT FEE AGREEMENT. EXPERT WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AGREEMENT MADE WITH A CUSTOMER. EXPERT FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT EXPERT WILL SOLELY BE RESPONSIBLE AND LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO ANY CUSTOMER TO WHOM EXPERT PROVIDES SERVICES AND WHERE THAT CUSTOMER SUFFERS DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED TO SUCH SERVICES. IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE REGARDING ANY TRANSACTION CONDUCTED THROUGH madotattoo.COM, EXPERT HEREBY RELEASES madotattoo AND ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, SUB-CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS FROM ALL MANNER OF ACTIONS, CLAIMS OR DEMANDS AND FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES (DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL), DAMAGES, COSTS OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COURT COSTS AND ATTORNEY'S FEES, WHICH EXPERT MAY HAVE AGAINST ONE OR MORE OF THE ABOVE.
By submitting the Advisor registration form, you the Advisor, represent, warrant and agree to the following:
You the Advisor will be solely and fully liable for all conduct, services, advice, postings and transmissions that are made in your communications through madotattoo.com or under your madotattoo user name and password. You represent, warrant and declare that while you are using madotattoo.com as and Advisor, you will act according to the following rules:
Advisor and Customer Communication
The main purpose of madotattoo is to provide a platform for registered Advisors to provide Customers with advice that they seek. By utilizing madotattoo.com, Advisors and Customers can negotiate and enter into a contract for advice. madotattoo does not screen or edit the content of communications between Advisors and Customers, but madotattoo may screen, copy, transmit and review all communications conducted by or through madotattoo.com for technical support and/or in order to uphold the terms of this Agreement.

Termination of Account by Advisor
Advisor may terminate their Agreement with madotattoo at any time by sending an email to contactus@madotattoo.com. madotattoo shall invalidate Advisor's user name and password within thirty (30) days of receiving such notice. Advisor may inactivate his or her own account for any desired period of time from within their madotattoo account. Notwithstanding termination, all obligations of Advisor under this Agreement relating to any activity prior to the termination date shall remain in full force and effect.
madotattoo respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. madotattoo may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, terminate the account or access of users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
madotattoo grants Advisor a nonexclusive, revocable right to use the Site provided that Advisor does not copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover any source code, or breach this Agreement.
Advisor will indemnify, defend and hold harmless madotattoo, and its members, managers, employees, representatives, agents and Affiliates against any and all losses, damages, suits, judgments, costs and expenses (including litigation costs and attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any claim, suit, action, or other proceeding brought against madotattoo or such party, to the extent that such claim, suit, action or other proceeding is based on or arises from: (a) any breach of any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement to be performed by Advisor according to this Agreement; (b) Advisor's provision of services to any third party, regardless of whether or not they are Customers of the madotattoo service; or (c) any materials that Advisor has posted to madotattoo.com and/or any content on Advisor's Web site or otherwise provided to Customers. Advisor represents and warrants that it maintains and will continue to maintain adequate insurance if such insurance is required by any applicable laws or regulations which apply to the provision of services by Advisor, including, without limitation, professional liability insurance applicable to the legal and medical professions.
Insider Trading A. Legal Prohibitions and Penalties
Indian securities laws and the laws of most jurisdictions worldwide generally prohibit "insider trading" or the purchase or sale, or the recommendation of a purchase or sale, of any stock, bond, option or other security by a person while he or she is in possession of "material nonpublic information" (sometimes also referred to as "inside information") about the security or its issuer. The use of such material nonpublic information to avoid losses is no less a violation than the use of such information to generate profits.
Regulators have treated the detection and prosecution of insider trading violations as an enforcement priority, and violations have also been the subject of private legal actions. U.S. federal and state securities laws provide for criminal and civil penalties for violations of the insider trading laws. Sanctions or penalties include jail sentences, civil injunctions, fines for the person who committed the violation of up to three times the profit gained or loss avoided as a result of the unlawful trades, whether or not the person fined actually traded, and fines for the person's employer or other controlling person.
A person can be subject to some or all of these penalties as a "tipper" if he or she discloses material nonpublic information to another person who then trades while in possession of such information. A person can incur "tipper-tippee" liability if his or her disclosure of information breaches a duty owed to the issuer or the source of the information. A tipper can be liable even if he or she does not personally receive a direct monetary benefit from the ensuing trading activity.
It is also important to understand that the prohibitions on disclosing or misusing information do not apply only to "insiders" such as officers, directors, employees and significant shareholders of an issuer. The prohibitions can also apply to "outsiders" such as consultants, accountants, lawyers and underwriters who have a duty of trust or confidence to the source of the material nonpublic information. In addition, the prohibitions can also apply to persons with a family relationship to the source of the information, and to persons with any other relationship of trust or confidence with the source (such as when people have a history, pattern or practice of sharing confidences). You are prohibited from disclosing any nonpublic information in breach of any duty of trust or confidence to the source or subject matter of the information.
Information is "material" if there is a substantial likelihood that a reasonable investor would consider it important in deciding whether to purchase, sell or hold a security or other financial instrument. It is also information that, if disclosed, is reasonably likely to affect the market price of the security or instrument. Information may be material even if it relates to speculative or contingent events. Information that is material with respect to a security is also likely to be material with respect to options and other related derivatives.
Information that is material usually includes, but is not limited to: dividend changes, earnings estimates, changes in previously released earnings estimates, significant merger or acquisition discussions or agreements, major litigation or regulatory investigations, regulatory approvals or disapprovals, and extraordinary management developments.
Because the determination of whether information is "material" involves questions of judgment (that may be second-guessed by a regulator who has the benefit of hindsight), you should refrain from disclosing nonpublic information if you have any questions about whether the information might potentially be considered material.
Information is nonpublic until it has been effectively communicated to the market place or made widely available to the general public such as by means of a press release carried over a major news services, a public filing made with a regulatory agency, or material sent to security holders or potential investors (such as a proxy statement or prospectus).
It is sometimes difficult to know whether information has been made public. The fact that nonpublic information is reflected in rumors in the marketplace does not mean that the information has been publicly disseminated. Even when some information regarding a matter has been made public, other aspects of the matter may remain nonpublic.

All charges are billed by and payable to your wireless carrier.

You represent that you are the owner, or authorized user of the wireless device you use to subscribe to the service, and that you are authorized to approve the applicable charges. We will not be liable for any delays or failures in your receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and processing by your mobile device. SMS message services are provided on an AS IS, AS AVAILABLE basis.
Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time and content of your messages and other information that you may provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us, and to otherwise operate, develop and improve the service. Your wireless carrier and other service providers may also collect data from your SMS usage, and their practices are governed by their own policies. We will only use the information you provide to the service to transmit your text message or as otherwise described in this document. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. When you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with the service, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information.
The service as well as the content and materials received through the service are proprietary to us and our licensors, and is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You shall not damage, impair, interfere with or disrupt the service or its functionality.
We reserve the right to alter charges and/or these terms and conditions from time to time. We may suspend or terminate the service to you if we believe you are in breach of our terms and conditions. Your service is also subject to termination in the event your wireless service terminates or lapses. We may discontinue the service at any time.

Advisor shall not assign his or her rights and obligations according to this Agreement, in whole or in part, whether voluntarily or by operation of law, without the prior, written consent of madotattoo. Any purported assignment by Advisor without the appropriate prior written approval will be null and void and of no force or effect.
Modifications to this Agreement
madotattoo may change this Agreement without prior notice by posting modifications on the Site. Unless otherwise specified by madotattoo, all modifications shall be effective upon posting. Therefore, Advisor is encouraged to check the terms of this Agreement frequently. By using the service or Site after the changes become effective, Advisor agrees to be bound by such changes to the Agreement. If Advisor does not agree to the changes, Advisor may terminate access to the Site and participation in madotattoo services by following the procedures set forth above.
